I am origanlly from a very small farming community in Southern Illinois named Okawville. Even though not far, I ventured to Edwardsville to seek a degree in Speech Communication on the Public Relations Track. I have not been disappointed either. SIUE, Is a great school.

My greatest passions lie within my family, my service and my academic desire. Also enjoy helping people and making other people happy. A Qoute I live by is, "Giving is better than getting."

I am currently a server at Red Robin, and I love it. The fact that I get the oppurtunity to talk to all sorts of different people during my entire shift is a blessing in itself. To me it is not just serving, it is practice for my future in Public Relations.

 

I had the oppurtunity to intern at United Way of Great St. Louis. This was the best experience of my life, and I can not thank them enough for all the knowledge they instilled in me. I learned what having a career will be like, and i cannot wait. United Way made me 100% posivitve that Public Relations is what I am supposed to do with my life. I am very curious of what the future will have in store for me. I will follow my dreams and get to where I want to be. I also, beleive communication is the key to everything.
